The academic year for all Universities of the Russian Federation usually starts in September, as start of first semester and runs for 20 weeks. Thus the enrollment of the international students for all faculties starts by the end of June each year.
Generally, there is no set age limitations to study in Russia, though it is mandatory to have passed High School, are not younger than 17 years of age and not older than 30 years of age. But they do accept students older than the given age parameter, depending on intellect and knowledge.
If you have a Russian student visa, students can work during the holidays or at the school where you are studying, but you will need a work permit from the Federal Migration Service (FMS). If you are a full time student at a state accredited university, you will be granted a work permit.
In general you will need to provide your degrees duly attested and with the equivalent papers if applicable. For the Visa process kindly contact one of our representatives or visit our office in Lahore.
As such there is no language barrier to study in Russia. You can study in English language or Russian, that will be totally your preference. Though for admission there is no language proficiency test required by you to submit. A basic level English language test will be conducted in the form of interview.
English is not a mandatory language though important to study internationally. We, here at Right Education, give you the opportunity to study either in English or in Russian language. There is also an opportunity for those students who are weak in English, can get enrolment in Russian language course that is for 6 weeks before the start of a regular semester.
